The topic of the didactic unit is “The Band” and it is addressed to primary school students, specifically to 12 year-old students. Nowadays, music of different bands is a part of our daily lives (when watching TV or taking the bus) and that is why children, at this age, love music and they consider it as a way to identify themselves in a concrete social group. Thus, focusing on music, we can motivate students and make them learn vocabulary or everyday expressions and tenses. Furthermore, music is an interesting way to improve intonation, pronunciation and speech.

The two activities I am going to choose related to this topic and new technologies are as follows: -Fill in the gaps activity while listening to a song, completing the lyrics -Look for their favorite song on youtube and show it to their classmates by using the digital board -Write an email to their favorite singer/band
